Life is possible on earth only due to oxygen in the atmosphare and water on the earth . the earth has an atomsphere of 75% Nitrogen, 21% oxygen, 4% carbondioxide and ozone gasses the earth's polar diameter is 12713 KM. the earth has only one moon. The earth moves in its orbit with the revolution 107160 KM/hour . the earth is spherical or round, bulging on the equator and flat on the poles. There is 71% water and 29% land on the earth. The earth has unequally moderate temperature and the presence of oxygen and copious water makes the earth the only planet in the solar system to support life. The total area of the land is about 148951 sq KM , water 361150000, equitorial diameter 12757 KM , Gross mass 5.976 x 10^24 Kg. The estimated age of the earth is 4600 Crores years.
